And we are confident that our steel halls will meet the expectations of even the most demanding customers.
ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
The basis for ensuring the quality of the products we supply is a quality management system that complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. It is international standard, which provides a general framework for quality management In any organization. In particular, the company’s activities within the framework of this standard are: continuous improvement of products and services so that they best meet customer requirements. The implementation of this system directly translates into Increase the quality of services and customer satisfactionw. The certificate in the production of steel structures confirms that the products we offer are distinguished by the highest quality workmanship.
EN 1090 standard
HalMod’s manufacturing process will be certified for compliance with regulations EN 1090 concerning the evaluation and verification of process constancy for the welding standard.
Cold-formed structural steel
We use the highest quality cold-formed structural steel: S355JR and hot-dip galvanized sheet S350GD+Z with additional ribbing to strengthen the stability of the structure.
S355JR steel
Non-alloy structural steel, used for the manufacture of semi-finished and hot-rolled products used in the production of steel building structures. It is used to make metal structures and various profiles. This type of steel S355JR is widely used in construction and even in bridge building.
Sheet S350GD+Z
Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, with maximum corrosion resistance, is used for structural and cladding components.
We also produce steel structures from other types of steel – depending on the needs of the investor.
European standards for building structures - Eurocodes
The Polish construction standard expired in early 2021. Currently, construction design is normalized by Eurocodes. HalMod modular structures are designed based on the current set of European standards (EN) intended for the design of building structures. The Eurocodes define the rules for the design and construction of building structures.
Loads of steel halls
- Eurocode: Fundamentals of Structural Design – considers the principles and requirements for the safety, serviceability and durability of building structures.
- Eurocode 1: Actions on Structures – Part 1-1: Volumetric weight, deadweight, imposed loads, contains characteristic values of actions to be taken in the calculation of a structure to determine the degree of safety of its operation.
- Eurocode 1: Actions on structures – Part 1-4: Wind actions; 1991-1-3 Snow loads
Foundation of steel halls
- Eurocode 2: Design of concrete structures – Part 1-1: General rules and rules for buildings
- Eurocode 7: Geotechnical Design – Part 1: General Principles Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Structures – deals with the design of foundations and structures in terms of geotechnical actions, i.e., transferred to the structure by the soil, etc. This Eurocode corrects the principles of recognition of soil and water conditions, impacts on the structure, and design of the structure taking into account these impacts.
Steel hall structures
The Eurocode 3 package provides guidelines for the design of steel structures. Each part is divided into many individual sub-parts that detail all the principles of steel construction. Industrial halls and storage halls are calculated on the basis of Eurocode 3 – PN-EN 1993-1.
- Eurocode: Design of steel structures. General rules and rules for buildings
- Eurocode 3: (EC 3, EN 1993): Design of steel structures – Part 1-3: Rules for section and plate structures – applies to the design of steel buildings and structures.
- Eurocode 3: Design of Steel Structures – Part 1-8: Design of Nodes – Contains principles of calculation with consideration of node susceptibility
