The price per square meter of a steel hall depends on many factors, but in most cases of halls we can assume a certain price range, which allows our customers to estimate the cost of the planned construction of an agricultural, storage or production hall.
Total cost of steel hall construction ranges from net PLN 1500 to net PLN 2900 per square meter of building. The spread is wide, as the price is affected by many variables, especially the technologies used and the way the hall is finished. Earthworks before construction of steel hall – cost
A very important stage in the construction of the hall is soil testing, which will allow you to determine how to prepare the site before construction begins. The cost of a single well can range from £400 to £600 net. For a hall up to 500 m2, we recommend drilling at least 3 boreholes, and for larger halls the number of boreholes is increased by one borehole for every 300 m2 of hall.
Construction of foundations for a steel hall – cost
There are three basic types
foundations for steel halls
, which differ in price and execution time.
– foundation footings – a popular solution, but very labor-intensive and expensive, associated with the need to transport a large amount of construction materials and remove the excavated soil. The cost is approx. 300-500 zlotys per m2, and if the hall is also to have a floor, then you need to add about 150-250 zlotys per m2.
– foundation slab – a modern way of creating a foundation that is also a floor, since the entire foundation slab is poured with concrete. With this solution, the work is simplified, construction takes faster and is cheaper than with footings. The cost of such a foundation (including flooring) is about 350 – 500 PLN per m2. The price depends on, among other things. on whether the foundation slab is to be insulated. As an option, you can add the finishing of the floor – depending on the project, the floor can be finished using different materials, such as covered with a special resin, the cost of which starts from PLN 50 net/m2.
– foundation columns – is the cheapest solution, i.e. the foundation is created only
For the column of the supporting structure. This is a cost in the range of PLN 120 – 200 per m2. In this option, for example, paving stones can be laid instead of flooring. You can additionally lay curbs around the hall for a full finish – the cost ranges from PLN 80 – 150 per meter.
Cost of building a square meter of steel hall
After selecting the type of foundation, you can proceed to the quote for the construction and installation of the HalMod steel hall. To erect a steel hall on the ground is a cost in the order of 700-900 PLN net per m2. This price includes the cost of construction and installation.
HalMod steel structure alone costs 220-350 PLN net/m2, depending on the parameters of the building – the height, length and width of the building, as well as the wind and snow zone.
Another cost is the assembly of the steel structure – when using HalMod assembly services, the price of assembling the hall is from PLN 70 per m2. This cost can be reduced by opting for self-assembly of the hall – the modular structure is bolted together, we provide accurate documentation to enable you to assemble it yourself.Depending on the project, it is also necessary to take into account the cost of cladding (
trapezoidal sheet
or
sandwich panel
), gutters and flashings – the cost starts from 65 PLN per m2, while the installation of the cladding costs from 40 PLN per m2.
The cost of finishing a steel hall
Finishing a HalMod steel hall requires installing gates, doors and possibly windows or skylights.
The cost of a gate for a steel hall is from 6,000 PLN net, and the cost of a door from 1,000 PLN. The number of gates and doors installed will affect the total price of the hall.
The price of windows and skylights varies greatly, so add to the price of the hall those items offered by your chosen supplier.
Once the installation of doors and windows is complete, the building can be considered ready for acceptance in a closed development state. It is also worth adding to the final price the cost of electrical or sanitary installations that will enable the hall to be used as intended. The cost of such installations can be estimated from PLN 200 net per square meter.
